Government Chief Whip Sailajanath met Kadapa Member of Parliament Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Thursday morning at the latter's residence.
According to reports they discussed the situation arising out of the violence at Mahabubabad railway station, and Jagan's subsequent trip to New Delhi.
Later, rebel Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader and former MLC, Rahman, met Jagan as well.
Rahman reportedly told Jagan that the people of Telangana are behind him, and he has their support, barring a few people who are being misled by K Chandrasekhar Rao. He also said that KCR and his family have become a roadblock for the creation of a separate Telangana state.
Earlier, on Wednesday, MIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi also met Jagan to express his solidarity, in addition to alleging that there were deliberate efforts in political circles to destroy Jagan's career.
The meetings assume significance as Jagan is being sidelined by the Congress party after he defied the Congress high command and went ahead with his Odarpu Yatra in the Telangana region on May 28.
