CM K Chandrashekar Rao has appointed Veda Rajani, wife of folk singer Veda Saichand, as the Chairperson of the Telangana State Warehousing Corporation.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Friday appointed Veda Rajani, wife of folk singer Veda Saichand, as the Chairperson of the Telangana State Warehousing Corporation.

Folk singer, Telangana statehood activist and Telangana State Warehousing Corporation chairman V Sai Chander, popularly known as Saichand, had passed away due to a cardiac arrest on June 29.

Taking Saichand's contribution to the statehood movement and his cultural activities after the formation of Telangana State into consideration, the Chief Minister decided to appoint his wife Rajani as the Chairperson of the corporation.
