Former Home minister P Sabitha Indira Reddy, on Friday, appeared before the CBI special court at Nampally in connection to the Dalmia Cements case.
Sabitha produced a personal bond before the court which has been accepted.
It may be mentioned that Sabitha and B Dharmana Prasad Rao were forced to resign from the state cabinet after they were named as accused by the Central Bureau of Investigation in YSRCP president Jaganmohan Reddy's Disproportionate Assets case. The CBI had also filed a memo in the CBI court seeking their judicial custody, the hearing on which, is scheduled to be held on June 25.
Meanwhile, suspended IAS officer Srilakshmi also appeared before the court in connection to the illegal mining case of Obulapuram Mining Company. She came to the court in an ambulance due to ill-health. On her lawyer's request that she could not climb up to the second floor to appear in the court, the court officials went to the ambulance to mark her presence. (INN)
