Congress leader and former home minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy today appeared before the CBI court in connection with the YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy's Disproportionate Assets case.
IAS officers Srilakshmi and B P Acharya, who are also facing allegations in the case, also appeared before the court.
The charge against the principal accused in the case, Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, is that he amassed wealth illegally through receiving investments in his companies as quid pro quo for favours done to industrialists, with the active connivance of ministers and government officials during the late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy regime.
