Telangana Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy today assured the farmers of the state that they would continue to receive financial support under the state's Rythu Bandhu scheme.
"A total of Rs 6,632.74 crore was deposited into the accounts of the farmers in the past week. Our efforts to support the farm sector through the Rythu Bandhu scheme have benefited 58.07 lakh farmers so far. We will continue to work for the farmers in this way," the minister said.
"Those with up to 10 acres of land were given priority during the distribution of aid last week. However, the farmers with larger landholdings should not worry, as they will also receive aid within the next three to four days. We will keep our promise of providing all the farmers in the state with aid for the Yasangi season," he added.
