The police seized Rs. 19 lakh from a car near Gattuppal village of the Munugodu Assembly constituency, where a by-election is scheduled to take place on November 3.

The police on Tuesday seized Rs. 19 lakh in cash from a car near Gattuppal village of the Munugodu Assembly constituency, where a by-election is scheduled to take place on November 3.

According to the police, the Brezza (TS 07FY 9333) was stopped and searched upon suspicon, and the money was found openly stashed in a bag.

Flexi boards of the Congress were also reportedly found in the car.
