Andhra Pradesh Tourism Minister R K Roja called on Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at Pragathi Bhavan today.
Roja along with her family members met the Chief Minister.
Speaking on the occasion, Roja said that she treated KCR as a father figure, and had taken his blessings after assuming charge as minister.
Responding to the comments made by IT Minister K T Rama Rao, who had alleged that Andhra Pradesh suffered from bad roads, and lack of power and drinking water supply, Roja said that KTR's perception would be proved wrong if he visited Andhra Pradesh once.
She said that the friend of KTR who the latter had quoted as his source had given wrong information to him, and that under the leadership of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, there was no scarcity of power supply in the State, and the State government was implementing many welfare schemes.
"Welfare schemes like Amma Vodi and Nadu-Nedu are unparalleled in the country. Andhra Pradesh has become a role model for other States in implementing welfare and development programmes," Roja claimed.
"If KTR gives time to me, I will show him what kind of development is taking place in Andhra Pradesh," she added.
