Revanth Reddy Tenders Open Apology To Komatireddy

The sensational remarks made by the Congress veteran leader and Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy against TPCC president Revanth Reddy have had their impact on the latter.

Revanth Reddy today released a video tendering a public apology to Venkat Reddy over the "insulting" comments made by the party spokesperson Addanki Dayakar at the Chandur public meeting of the party.

Revanth Reddy said that he was taking the responsibility for the comments made by Dayakar against Venkat Reddy, and added that the use of such insulting language was not appropriate for any party leader.

Venkat Reddy had demanded that Revanth Reddy apologize for the comments made by Dayakar. He also claimed that he was not invited by the party leaders for making preparations for the upcoming by-election campaign in the Munugodu Assembly constituency, and said that he would not take part in the campaign unless invited.

He also asked Revanth Reddy to suspend Dayakar from the party for insulting him by using abusive and foul language.

Meanwhile, Dayakar too responded to the comments of Venkat Reddy. He said that he was feeling sad for having made the comments he did against the party MP, and that he was once again apologizing to Reddy for his comments against him. He also said that he had already tendered a written apology to Venkat Reddy earlier in response to the showcause notice of the disciplinary committee of the party.

Reacting to the reports, Venkat Reddy said that he had not seen the video of the apology of Revanth Reddy so far, but made it clear that public apology of the TPCC chief was not enough for the comments made by Addanki Dayakar, and that the party should suspend Dayakar immediately.

He added that he had no plans to take part in the padayatra being held by the party leadership in the Munugodu constituency at this time, and that he would think of taking part in the padayatra only after the suspension of Dayakar.
