Chief Minister Revanth Reddy this evening left for New Delhi in a special flight from the Begumpet airport.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and Minister Sridhar Babu were also with the Chief Minister.
According to party sources, Reddy will interact with the senior leaders of the Congress high command in New Delhi on Tuesday, and there is a possibility of discussing a cabinet expansion, nominated posts and candidates for the Lok Sabha elections.
The Chief Minister wants districts including Hyderabad, Nizamabad and Adilabad, which do not have representation in the Cabinet, to be given representation.
The CM and Deputy CM are also likely to meet many union ministers in the national capital.
Earlier in the day, Sri Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy called on the CM at his residence in Hyderabad. On the occasion, the seer invited the CM to attend the Samatha Kumbh 2024.
