Telugu Desam Legislature Party deputy floor leader Gali Muddu Krishnamma Naidu on Tuesday demanded that the Andhra Pradesh state Reorganisation Bill 2013 be returned to the President of India immediately.
Speaking to media persons, Gali claimed that Speaker Nadendla Manohar himself has admitted to 20 major mistakes in the Telangana Bill. Similarly, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has so far admitted to five major mistakes in the Bill.
Therefore, he said that the state Legislative Assembly should return the Bill to the Centre, asking to first rectify the mistakes.
Gali contended that the erroneous Telangana Bill cannot be debated in the Legislative Assembly. He said that a debate on such a Bill would amount to injustice to the people of Seemandhra region, which he said cannot be tolerated. (INN)
