The floor leader of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Etala Rajender, on Thursday, alleged that Secondary Education minister D Manikya Vara Prasad was not acting on the cabinet sub-committee report set up for District Selection Committee-2008.
Talking to media persons on assembly premises, Rajender said the minister was not doing justice to aspirants for the posts of teachers from Telangana region and acting against the interests of Telangana candidates in the implementation of cabinet sub-committee report.
The TRS leader alleged that the minister was recruiting the posts reserved for physical handicapped in Telangana districts with coastal Andhra candidates violating the sub-committee recommendations.
Rajender also blamed the government for not regularising the services of 1950 non-teaching staff members working in agency areas, though the former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy had issued orders long back.
The TRS leader said he would submit a memorandum to Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Friday to press those demands.
