Recruitment For 9,222 Posts In Health Department In Two Months
Minister T Harish Rao today announced that the Telangana government had decided to recruit for another 9,222 posts in the health department in the next two months.
Minister for Health T Harish Rao today announced that the State government had decided to recruit for another 9,222 posts in the medical and health department in the next two months.
Speaking at a program after handing over the appointment letters to 1,061 newly recruited Assistant Professors, Rao said that since the formation of Telangana a total of 22,263 job vacancies had been filled in the medical and health department, and that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was very clear that there should not be even one vacancy in the health wing.
Adding that KCR was working on a mission to make quality healthcare services available to the poor, the minister said that right now a total of 54 types of diagnostic tests were being done free of cost in the diagnostic centres of the government, and that from June onwards the number of tests would be increased upto 134.
He also said that the State government had started nine medical colleges this year, and had spent Rs 500 crore on each college.
He added that as a result of all of these, Telangana stood third in health services in India.
