Ready To Give Up My Seat If Sircilla Reserved For Women: KTR
Welcoming the Centre introducing the Women's Reservation Bill in Parliament, the minister said he was ready to give up his seat if Sircilla was reserved for women.
Welcoming the union government's decision to introduce the Women's Reservation Bill in Parliament, Telangana Minister for IT and Industries K T Rama Rao said that he was ready to give up his Assembly seat if the Sircilla constituency was reserved for women.
Speaking after inaugurating the International Tech Park Hyderabad (ITPH) developed by CapitaLand Investment Limited (CLI) at Madhapur, KTR said that the BRS would support the women's reservation bill wholeheartedly as the bill would enable more women to enter politics.
Speaking about the park, KTR claimed that Hyderabad was the best destination for investments, and expressed happiness that the State capital had reached a level where it was producing vaccines for the entire world. He said that more than 40% of the pharmaceutical products in the country now came from Hyderabad.
"CapitaLand's commitment to developing world-class business parks and data centres in Hyderabad is a testament to the exponential growth of the city's IT sector," KTR said. "With Hyderabad becoming a preferred destination for leading global corporations, we are dedicated to providing the infrastructure and support necessary for these companies to grow and succeed. We will continue to work with leading companies like CLI to shape the future of Hyderabad's business landscape by creating an ecosystem that nurtures innovation and collaboration."
The minister also participated in the groundbreaking ceremony held for the development of a 40 MW data centre in the ITPH.
