Rayadurg MLA Kapu Ramachandra Reddy today tendered his resignation from the MLA's post to support the cause of keeping Andhra Pradesh united.

This happened in the midst of the ongoing protests being carried out by the Samaikyandhra JAC in the Ananthapur district. Reportedly, the YSRCP MLA, who was participating in the protests, led a rally to his own office, and wrote his resignation letter at the insistence of the JAC activists.

Earlier this week, another YSRCP MLA Guruthan Reddy resigned under similar circumstances.
