There appears to be no immediate respite for the State from its weather events.
It is a known fact that there has been widespread rainfall across Telangana for the past one week. The irrigation projects in the State have become full due to the heavy rains and floods. The Hyderabad Meteorological Centre has now predicted light to moderate rainfall for the next two days, too.
According to the met officials, light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur on the 7th and 8th of this month. There is a possibility thunderstorms and lightning accompanying the rains too. There is also a likelihood of strong winds blowing at speeds of 30 to 40 km per hour.
Heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places in Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Bhupalapalli, Mulugu, Warangal and Hanumkonda districts. Adilabad, Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumkonda, Janagam, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Mahbubnagar, Narayanpet, Gadwal and Vanaparthi districts are likely to witness thunderstorms. There is also a possibility of the thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds.
