President To Visit City On Dec 19, Back On 23rd
President Ram Nath Kovind will attend the finale of the World Telugu Conference on December 19 as chief guest, and then return for his annual sojourn.

Telangana Chief Secretary Sekhar Prasad Singh today said that President Ram Nath Kovind would be attending the grand finale of the World Telugu Conference (WTC) on December 19, as chief guest.
Presiding over a high-level review meeting at the Secretariat today, Singh directed the officials concerned to make arrangements to offer a grand welcome to the President at Begumpet Airport at 2:55 pm. All the departments should make the necessary arrangements at the airport and also in the city with welcome arches, hoardings etc, he said.
He also discussed the arrangements being made and asked the relevant departments to take steps for traffic regulation, bandobust and security, uninterrupted power supply, repair of roads and sanitation facilities, and the ceremonial parade.
The Chief Secretary also said that the President would offer floral tributes to Lord Buddha at Tank Bund on December 20, and would leave for Delhi the same day. As part of his official winter stay in Rashtrapathi Nilayam at Bollarum, Kovind will again arrive in the city on December 23, he said, and asked the officials to make arrangements for his sojourn.
