President Droupadi Murmu today concluded her five-day southern sojourn, and left for New Delhi.
The President was given a warm send-off by Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy, Tribal Welfare Minister Satyavati Rathod, GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalaxmi, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and senior officials from various departments, at the Hakimpet Air Force station in the city.
Murmu had arrived Hyderabad on December 26 for the 5-day southern sojourn. During her visit, she visited a few temples, including the Srisailam temple in Andhra Pradesh, the Lord Sitaramachandra Swamy temple in Bhadrachalam in Bhadradri Kothagudem district, the Ramappa temple in Mulugu district and the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Yadadri, and also took part in various official programs.
