Prepare For NEET 2012: Minister To Students

A minister asks students to prepare for NEET this year, adding that though the AP government had approached the SC to seek a stay on it, the exam might still be conducted.
Hyderabad | 12th December 2012
Medical Education Minister Kondru Murali Mohan on Wednesday has asked students to prepare themselves for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test this year.

Talking to reporters at the Congress Legislature Party, the minister said that the state government has already approached the Supreme Court, seeking a stay on NEET for this year, as students, especially those from rural areas, were not prepared for it.

He said that the government would conduct EAMCET if the SC stays NEET, but that if the government gets no relief from the court, then students would have to write the NEET.

Kondru said that from next year, NEET would replace EAMCET. (INN)
