Power Cuts On Eid, Protests Across AP

Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy extends his greetings to Muslims in Andhra Pradesh, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

It is Eid today, and there has been no respite from power hassles for Andhra Pradesh's lot.

The festival sadly marked protests in various places across the state, with activists, citizens and farmers alike expressing their outrage.

Sub-stations in several locations were picketed. There were dharnas in areas in and around Vijayawada, Prakasam and Nalgonda, among others.

In some places, the Left lent support to the protests.

"Of what use is a government that cannot supply power to us during our holy festival?" an angry Muslim protestor demanded to know.

Meanwhile, with reports that the power cut situation would worsen after Eid, we can all only wait and watch how things turn out.

what govt is doing a use less govt when world is moving so fast we are very back ward plz insure a stable.and strong govt like tdp
