Post Mortem False, SI Killed By Sand Mafia: Balram Naik
Alleging that the sand mafia had killed Ramavath Ramesh, the former union minister demanded that the government order a CBI inquiry into the tribal SI's death.
Former union minister Balram Naik alleged that the post-mortem report of sub-inspector Ramavath Ramesh's body was false.
He said that though several injuries were found on the body of Ramesh, the doctors who conducted the post mortem report were claiming that the SI had committed suicide.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan on Friday, Naik said that Ramesh did not hang himself, and that some people had killed him with sticks and later hanged him to give an impression that he had committed suicide.
Alleging that the sand mafia had killed Ramesh, he demanded that the government order a CBI inquiry into the tribal SI's death.
Naik said that the relatives of Ramesh were accusing Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy and two police Circle Inspectors of being behind Ramesh's death.
The sand mafia had killed Ramesh, he asserted, and also alleged that the local TRS leaders' hand was there in the murder.
He demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao consider the issue seriously and order a CBI inquiry.
He warned the government that he would organize a huge dharna at Indira Park with ST people if it failed to order a CBI inquiry.
