Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Monday strongly condemned the burning of copies of the draft State Reorganisation Bill 2013 by the APNGOs leaders as a part of Bhogi celebrations.
Speaking to media persons in the Assembly premises, Ponguleti said that the burning of the draft copies of the Telangana Bill is an insult to the President of India and a clear display of disrespect towards the Constitution.
He also condemned TDP president N Chandrabababu Naidu and YSRCP chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy for their silence on this act.
He said that both the leaders are maintaing a silence over the insult of the Constitution of India.
Ponguleti advised APNGOs chief Ashok Babu to "stay in his limits".
He said that the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh is a political decision and process and therefore, the government employees should restrain themselves from indulging in politics. (INN)
