Former Task Force DCP Radhakishan Rao, who was arrested in a phone-tapping case, has been shifted to Karimnagar.

He had asked for bail from the court due to a health problem for his mother, who is undergoing treatment in a private hospital, and the court granted interim permission to visit her. Permission was granted from 11 am to 3 pm on Sunday to allow him to spend a few hours with her in the hospital.

Rao was moved with escort vehicles on Sunday morning. Two escort vehicles, security personnel and the police took him to the cellar of the hospital in order to avoid any media attention.
