The
Joint Fact-Finding Committee (JFC) is going to conduct a brainstorming session from February 16 to 17 under the leadership of Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan at Hotel Daspalla.
Lok Satta founder-president Jayaprakash Narayan, former Congress MP Undavalli Arun Kumar, Congress leader Goutham, CPI leader Ramakrishna and CPM leader M Madhu will attend the session.
Pawan Kalyan will meet with the JFC members unofficially at 11 am first on February 16. The official session will start at 2 pm.
On the second day, the session will start at 10 am. The JFC will discuss about Special Status for Andhra Pradesh, the amount spent by Andhra Pradesh and the extent of the Centre's help to the state so far, the funds to be released from the Centre, and the future course of action for the state.
It is learnt that the JFC is contemplating mounting the pressure on the Centre keeping the Parliament's budget session's second phase from March 5 in view. It is also contemplating staging protest programs at Jantar Mantar if the need arises.
