Pawan Kalyan To Set Up Fact-Finding Committee For AP
The actor said the committee on why the promises to AP were not being implemented, would have Jayaprakash Narayan and Undavalli Arun Kumar among its members.
Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan today announced that he would set up a joint fact-finding committee on why the promises in the AP Reorganization Bill 2014 were not being implemented, with Lok Satta founder Jayaprakash Narayan and former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar among its members.
The actor-turned-politician met Undavalli today and discussed with him the setting up of the committee, as he had done a few days ago with Jayaprakash Narayan.
He said that he himself would not be a member in the committee.
He also announced that the Jana Sena was setting February 15 as the deadline for the state and the Central governments to give their reports. The experts in the committee would prepare their own report based on the reports given by the state and Union governments on fund allocation to Andhra Pradesh, he added.
Kalyan said that he expected both the BJP and the TDP to give their reports before February 15 respecting him as a friendly party. He also said that he would decide what to do if they failed to give their reports.
