Former Congress MP Undavalli Arun Kumar said that Lok Satta party founder Jayaprakash Narayan (JP), who along with him is part of
the Joint Fact-Finding Commission for Central funds given to Andhra Pradesh constituted by Pawan Kalyan, had full information about the allocation of Central funds for and their expenditure on AP.
Speaking to the media after a discussion with JP and CPI leader Ramakrishna on Monday, Undavalli said that they were thinking of how to work with the information that JP had, and that more information needed to be taken from the experts concerned. He said that that they would work as advised by JP.
He said that people of the state wanted to know how much money the Centre had allocated to Andhra Pradesh and how far it had fulfilled its assurances made to the state at the time of bifurcation, and this exercise would help with that.
Jayaprakash Narayan said that they would work together despite their differing political affiliations to achieve the rights of Andhra Pradesh. In the last four years the problems of AP doubled, he said, and alleged that political leaders were concentrating on creating temporary hungamas and statements but not on achieving outcomes.
He said that the team would work for the development of the state by monitoring how much amount came to the state and how employment opportunities would be created.
