Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan issued a set of suggestions through his Twitter account to his party activists participating in the padayatras on national highways on April 6 in protest against the union government not implementing the assurances mentioned in the A P Reorganization Act.
Kalyan asked the Jana Sena activists to walk on national highways only. In places where there were no national highways, he asked them to launch their padayatras from crossroads.
The yatra should be launched at 10 am and the padayatras should to be conducted for one hour, he said. The activists should carry first-aid kits and drinking water. They should also decide how to protect themselves in case the police resorted to arrests before the padayatra, he said.
The activists should also be careful and take precautionary measures to ensure that anti-social elements did not enter the programs, and the organizers needed to ensure the protection of women activists who participated in the padayatras, he added.
The activists should maintain restraint in case the police tried to provoke them, he advised.
