P Shankar Rao Condemns Attack On VHR's Vehicle

The former minister alleged that some Seemandhra leaders incited the activists to attack the vehicle of the Rajya Sabha MP in Tirupati on Saturday.

Former minister Dr P Shankar Rao alleged that some Seemandhra leaders incited the activists to attack the vehicle of Rajya Sabha MP V Hanumantha Rao in Tirupati on Saturday.

Talking to reporters in the Assembly premises, Shankar Rao said that the attack was planned and aimed at humiliating the senior Congress leader and a Telangana protagonist.

He said that the incident occurred in the native district of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, and therefore, the latter must act tough against those responsible.

Congress MLCs K R Amos and Yadav Reddy also condemned the attack on VHR's vehicle. (INN)
