Over 1.27 Lakh Appear For ICET

Of 1,37,100 candidates who applied for the test, 1,27,391 candidates turned up.

The Integrated Common Entrance Test conducted by the Kakatiya University across the state, on Friday, passed off peacefully.

Talking to media persons, ICET 2012 convenor Prof. K Om Prakash said that about 92.925 of candidates appeared for the examination, for admission into MBA and MCA courses.

Of 1,37,100 candidates who applied for the test, 1,27,391 candidates turned up, and 9,709 candidates abstained from it.

A few candidates, who came late for the test at a centre at Kasturba College in Secunderabad, were not allowed to write the exan.

The convenor said that results for ICET 2012 would be announced in the first week of June. (INN)
