On their part, the university authorities once again made it clear that there was no permission for any festival in the university premises. It was, therefore, informed to all the concerned including the teachers, students and staff of the university that activities such as Beef Festival, Pork Festival, Go Puja etc., which were unrelated to academics and research, would not be permitted on the campus.
The PG Practical exams had already commenced on December 7, 2015, and the PG Theory exams are scheduled to commence from December 14, 2015. Conduct of any non-academic activity would disturb the academic environment and the almanac.
