The Telangana CM asked his ministers to counter-attack the Opposition who would try to put the ruling Party on the mat on the farmers' suicides and other issues.
Hyderabad | 22nd September 2015
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today asked his Cabinet colleagues to see that the monsoon session of the Assembly beginning from Wednesday ran for more days this time, and that the Opposition leaders "ran away" from the session due to powerful replies being given containing full information.

Unveiling his strategy to take on the Opposition leaders with complete information on all issues, he asked his ministers to give trenchant responses to the Congress, TDP and BJP queries.

During a TRS Legislature Party meeting at Telangana Bhavan, KCR asked the ministers to be prepared to counter-attack the Opposition Parties who may try to put the ruling Party on the mat on the farmers' suicides, project design changes and other issues.

He is said to have opined that the House should focus on the steps being taken to curb suicides. He also wanted focus on issues such as the irrigation projects, pensions, water grid, lake restoration, houses for the poor and land for the dalits.

Asking the TRS members to be present in full strength, KCR asked them to target his Andhra Pradesh counterpart Chandrababu Naidu for coming in the way of irrigation projects and other development works.

The TRS members were also asked to raise the issue of suicides and the Asha workers' agitation in AP, and ask why the Left Parties were keeping mum on the issues.

According to information, the Legislature Secretariat received about 150 issues or queries seeking information. Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary is said to have given the nod to deal with about 40 queries or issues.
