The authorities of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly today issued special guidelines for the upcoming budget session of the state legislature keeping in view the coronavirus pandemic.
They asked the members of the Assembly and Council, and the state ministers, to not bring their personal staff into the premises of the legislature during the budget session.
It has been decided to not allow any unknown persons into the house, and to bar even gunmen.
Officials also asked the members to maintain social distance.
They further asked the members to affix their entry passes onto their vehicles, and said that every vehicle would be checked upon its entering the premises.
Orders have also been issued to all the members to not bring any kind of weapons or placards into the house.
The budget session is scheduled to start on June 16.
