The Andhra Pradesh Assembly was adjourned sine die today.
The house approved the appropriation bill today amid the cheers of the treasury benches.
It also passed a resolution opposing the implementation of the National Register of Citizens (NRC) in the state. It made it clear that it would not implement controversial Acts like the NRC and the NPR in the state.
Deputy Chief Minister Amzad Basha introduced the resolution in the house.
The house also observed a two-minute silence to pay tributes to the martyrs of the Ladakh fight. Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy led the house in paying the tributes to the martyrs.
Later, Speaker Tammineni Sitaram announced the adjournment of the house sine die.
