The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education today announced the results of the first year exams for students of the Intermediate general and vocational courses who took the examinations recently.
Only 49% of the students passed the exams. A total of 4,59,242 students appeared for the exams for the first year, and only 2,24,012 passed.
Girls surpassed boys as usual - while the girls' pass percentage was 56, the boys' pass percentage was 42.
The results are available on the websites tsbie.cgg.gov.in, http://results.cgg.gov.in and http://examresults.ts.nic.in. Students can also see their marks from December 17 after 5 pm on the websites.
Students can also opt for revaluation and recounting till December 22. Rs 100 for recounting and Rs 600 for verification of each paper will be collected from the students.
Any discrepancies in the memoranda can be brought to the notice of the board by the students by December 31 through the Principals of the respective colleges.
