A man from Hyderabad who frequents Dubai has tested positive for Covid-19 (coronavirus), and is undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital, and has been quarantined there.
His close relatives will be isolated, too.
The man's condition is said to be stable.
As per reports, five persons coming to the city from Dubai were tested, and while four of them tested negative, one tested positive for the virus.
Another person with a travel history to Italy has also tested positive in New Delhi, taking the overall tally of Covid-19 positive cases to five in India.
Also, a social activist of Hyderabad, who recently returned to Hyderabad from Bangkok, developed a cough and contacted the local public health officials. He was admitted to Gandhi Hospital and is under isolation.
