The CBI special court at Nampally, on Thursday, granted temporary bail to former managing director of Andhra Pradesh Mining Development Corporation V D Rajagopal, the third accused in the illegal mining case involving Obulapuram Mining Corporation (OMC).

The special court granted bail to Rajagopal till October 2 following a petition filed by him stating that his father-in-law was unwell and that he needs to visit Anantapur district. Rajagopal's counsel appealed to the court to grant bail to his client so that he may see his father-in-law. (INN)
