Responding to the summons issued by the Delhi police in connection with Union Home Minister Amit Shah's doctored video, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today said that Shah was issuing notices to all those who were fighting against the Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) in the country.
The CM on Monday participated in election campaigning at Gurmitkal in Karnataka. Addressing the public meeting, Reddy said that some other Congress leaders and he had been served the notices for questioning the BJP on the social media.
"Whenever elections are held, the Modi government sends ED, CBI and IT officials. There is nothing new in the notices being served. I am not afraid of such things and will face the tactics of the BJP," Reddy said.
The Chief Minister also alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had cheated the people over various promises, and that his party needed to be defeated in the Lok Sabha elections.
"Modi wants 400 Lok Sabha seats to abolish the SC, ST and OBC reservations. The people should be cautious with the BJP and teach it a fitting lesson in the elections," he said.
"In ten years, PM Modi has not implemented any of the promises he made to the people. He had promised that he would bring black money and put it in the people's accounts, but didn't deposit even a single paisa in the accounts of the poor," Reddy added.
