CM Summoned By Delhi Police Over Amit Shah Doctored Video
According to sources, Revanth Reddy has been asked to appear with the mobile phone of his allegedly used for posting the fake video on X.

The Delhi police have asked Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, in his capacity as the head of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, to join on May 1 the probe in connection with a doctored video of Union Home Minister Amit Shah being circulated on social media platforms.
Reddy was summoned to appear before Delhi Police IFSO's Cyber Crime Unit.
According to sources, the Chief Minister has been asked to appear with the mobile phone of his allegedly used for posting the fake video on X.
A Delhi police team has already reached Telangana to serve notices on the individuals who tweeted the fake video.
Sources said that five more people, including some Congress leaders, who shared the doctored videos would also be summoned by the Delhi police.
A video of Amit Shah saying that he would cancel ST, SC and OBC reservations if the BJP came back to power is doing the rounds on social media.
However, after the BJP and the Union Home Ministry complained that it was a fake video, the Delhi police registered a case under Sections 153, 153A, 465, 469 and 171G of the IPC and Section 66C of the Information Technology (IT) Act.
Cases have been registered in many States across the country. Police have also sent notices to X and Facebook seeking information on the accounts that uploaded and shared the video.
