No Shortage Of Drinking Water Supply In Telangana: Chief Secretary
Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari said that there would be no shortage of drinking water during the current summer as there was enough water in the State's reservoirs.
Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari today said that there would be no shortage of drinking water supply during the current summer as there was enough water in the reservoirs to meet the growing demand.
During a review meeting held today with other officials on the drinking water supply in the State, the Chief Secretary asserted that sufficient water was being supplied in Greater Hyderabad, and that if anyone requested additional water tankers, those were also being provided.
The Chief Secretary also asked the officials to carry out any repairs on a war footing, and maintain the continuous supply of drinking water.
Municipal Department Principal Secretary Dana Kishore; Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Principal Secretary Sandeep Sultania; Irrigation Department Secretary Rahul Bojjal Panchayat Raj Commissioner Anita Ramachandran; GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose; Municipal Department Director Divya Devarajan; Mission Bhagiratha ENC Krupakar Reddy; and other officers participated in the meeting.
