Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today said that no force could stop his ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra.
He also said his yatra was meant to protect the integrity of the country.
Gandhi made these remarks at a huge gathering of the party's leaders and workers in Goodaballur village of Narayanpet district near the Karnataka border, where he entered Telangana.
He specifically targeted the BJP and the RSS, alleging that the two organisations were trying to divide and destroy the country.
Gandhi also announced that he was taking a break of three days from his padayatra keeping in view the Diwali festival, and added that he would resume the yatra on October 27 from the same place.
Later, Gandhi left for the Shamshabad international airport by a special chopper. He then left for Delhi.
Earlier, AICC Telangana incharge and party MP Manickam Tagore, TPCC chief A Revanth Reddy, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, MP Uttam Kumar Reddy, TPCC publicity committee chairman Madhu Yashki Goud, AICC programs implementation committee chairman A Maheswar Reddy, MLA D Sridhar Babu and others accorded a grand welcome to Gandhi as he entered the State.
More than 50,000 party workers and leaders took part in the padayatra, which covered a distance of 4 km on the first day in the State.
