No Differences With KCR: Kodandaram

Telangana Political Joint Action Committee chairman M Kodandaram on Sunday denied having any differences with Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Talking to reporters after attending a breakfast meeting at Congress MP Madhu Yaskhi Goud's residence at Banjara Hills, which was held in honour of Rashtriya Lok Dal president Ajit Singh, Kondararam dismissed media reports that claimed that he was having serious differences with the TRS chief. He said that all pro-Telangana parties and leaders including KCR were working unitedly to achieve the statehood for the region.

Kondandaram also claimed that Ajit Singh had informed the Telangana leaders during the breakfast meeting that serious talks were going on in the national capital for the formation of a Telangana state. He said that Ajit Singh had advised the leaders to struggle unitedly for the cause of statehood.

He expressed hope that the Telangana leaders would counter the campaign unleashed by "some Seemandhra leaders to break the unity among them".

It may be mentioned here that reports of differences between Kodandaram and KCR have been doing the rounds ever since the Telangana March held on September 30. Earlier, KCR was expected to participate in the march. However, the TRS chief prolonged his stay in Delhi, and the Telangana March was considered largely a TPJAC event. Both the leaders did not meet each other, even after KCR's return to the city after a month-long stay in New Delhi. (INN)
