No Debate In Assembly On Secretariat Shifting

"Yes Sir" was the answer by Health Minister C Lakshma Reddy when asked about the government's decision to shift the Government TB and Chest Hospital.
Hyderabad | 14th March 2015
"Yes Sir" was the answer given by Health Minister C Lakshma Reddy when he was asked about the government's decision to shift the Government TB and Chest Hospital at Erragadda to the TB Sanitarium at Ananthagiri Hills in Vikarabad.

A similar two-word answer was given for a question on the government's decision to construct a new Ultra Modern Secretariat in the Chest Hospital premises.

The question was raised by 18 MLAs belonging to the TRS, Congress, MIM and BJP. It was the sixth in the list of 10 questions listed for oral answers during Question Hour in the Telangana Legislative Assembly on Saturday.

However, it was quite late by the time the members had debated four questions. Therefore, Assembly Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary announced that all other questions in the list were deemed to have been answered.

Interestingly, the members who listed the question did not insist on a postponement of the question as it is done in the case of important issues.

In the written answer, the Health Minister informed that the decisions were at the planning stage. (INN)
