Shivampet Mandal To Be Merged Into Narsapur

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today directed the Keshava Rao Committee to merge Shivampet mandal into the Narsapur revenue division.

After attending a meeting in Siddipet for launching the new districts, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today directed the Keshava Rao Committee to merge Shivampet mandal into the Narsapur revenue division instead of merging it with the Toopran division.

The Chief Minister took the decision almost immediately after Narsapur TRS MLA Madan Reddy sought the inclusion of Shivampet mandal into Narsapur division.

The legislator said that moving Shivampet into Narsapur would accelerate development of the area.
