Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu today inaugurated the MDR (MyDigiRecords) mobile app, developed by Medure Hospital Services, at a grand event in Jubilee Hills.
Addressing the gathering, the minister claimed that the app had potential to transform the healthcare landscape of the State.
"This ambitious initiative aims to create a comprehensive digital health profile for every citizen, ensuring seamless and efficient medical care across the State," he said.
Babu said that patients often visited multiple hospitals and were forced to undergo repetitive and costly diagnostic tests due to the absence of centralized health records, and that the lack of coordination not only placed a financial burden on the individuals but also delayed crucial medical interventions. By leveraging AI-powered integrated health profiles, Telangana aimed to reduce this burden, empower doctors with comprehensive patient histories, and enable predictive healthcare that could proactively identify and mitigate potential health risks, the minister added.
Babu reiterated Telangana's commitment to cutting-edge technology, and said, "The integration of advanced AI will position Telangana as a role model for the entire nation, setting a new standard for digital healthcare management."
He lauded Medure Hospital Services for developing the app, which promised real-time health monitoring and seamless data management.
TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Dr Moturi Krishnaprasad (Chairman, Medure Hospitals), Dr Saroj Gupta (CEO of the company), Dr Chris Humphreys (CMO of the company), and others were present at the event.
About MDR
The app is said to securely store medical histories, diagnostic reports and treatment plans, ensuring that patients and healthcare providers have instant access to critical information. Medure also claims that the app's real-time monitoring capabilities will allow individuals to track key health indicators such as blood pressure, SpO2 levels and stress levels, enabling early detection of potential health issues.
The app is also said to have AI-powered analytics that can predict health risks before they escalate, allowing for timely interventions. By purportedly eliminating redundant medical tests and streamlining treatment processes, the initiative is expected to reduce healthcare costs for both patients and hospitals, making quality care more affordable and accessible.
