New Additional Secy For IT Department

The ACC has also approved the appointment of an IAS officer to the post of Additional Secretary, Ministry Of Water Resources.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Friday approved the appointment of Rakesh Singh (currently Additional Secretary, Department of Information Technology) to the newly-created post of Additional Secretary, Department Of Financial Services, Ministry Of Finance.

Rakesh Singh is an IAS officer of the 1978 batch.

The ACC also approved the appointment of G Mohan Kumar as Additional Secretary, Ministry Of Water Resources. Mohan Kumar is an IAS officer of the 1979 batch.

The post had fallen vacant after the retirement of S Manoharan.
