A local court on Thursday issued non-bailable warrants against union minister Balram Naik and Warangal MP Rajaiah, on the charges of campaigning in a place of worship.
The NBWs have been issued against them as they had failed to attend the court when summons were issued in a case in which they were accused of conducting an election campaign (for the recently held by-elections in Station Ghanpur constituency) in a place of worship.
While campaigning for a Congress MLA, Rajaiah and the union minister had offered prayers in a place of worship while wearing Congress khandwas. (INN)
