Narendra Modi Unfit To Be Prime Minister: CPI

CPI leader K Narayana, in a rally against demonetization, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was unfit to run the world's largest democracy.
Hyderabad | 21st November 2016
Amid the drama ensuing from the Centre's ban on 500 and 1,000 currency bills, CPI national leader K Narayana today added his heft to it while participating in a rally outside the RBI building, and said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was not fit to run the world's largest democracy.

CPI activists took out a huge rally from the Assembly Building Complex to RBI here on Monday. They staged a dharna in front of the RBI office building.

Addressing the gathering, Narayana said that the poor and the middle-class were bearing the brunt of the aftermath of the unplanned ban. Mocking the BJP's usage of the phrase "surgical strike on corruption", he instead described the demonetization as a "surgical strike against the poor", and described the current situation outside as a "calamity".

Narayana opined that the common man should have been immunized by the Centre against the aftermaths of the ban prior to its announcement.
