The jury appointed to examine the entries for the prestigious Nandi Awards For Television submitted its list to Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Wednesday.
Jury committee chairman P Chandrasekhar Reddy and APSFTVDC Managing Director Parthasaradhi submitted the list of awardees to Chief Minister.
Parthasaradhi told media persons that Andhra Pradesh was the one and only state conferring Nandi awards on TV industry.
The MD said that the committee had received 50 entries from Tollywood which were produced in the year 2010, and censored on or before December 31st, 2010.
The government will distribute these Nandi awards at a function to be held at Lalitha Kala Thoranam on the occasion of Ugadi festival.
The list names "Vipranarayana" as the first best tele-film, "Wow" as the first best TV feature, "Sri Sri Sri Pothuluri Veera Brahmendra Swamy Charitra" as the first best TV mega serial, "Mogali Rekulu" as the first best TV daily serial and "Ashadeepam" as the first best TV children's film.
The first best TV documentary film was announced to be "Cheryal Kalakruthulu" and "Daily Mirror" was named the first best TV socially relevant film.
