Endowments Minister C Ramachandraiah on Thursday demanded that Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu tender an unconditional apology for allegedly making remarks derogatory to the Kapu community.
Addressing a press conference in the Congress Legislature Party office, Ramachandraiah said alleged that Naidu made some derogatory remarks against the Kapus, and demanded that he withdraw the remarks and tender an apology.
Ramachandraiah also slammed the TDP chief for his criticism against the state government over the energy crisis. He said that, as the Chief Minister, Naidu had failed to plan anything for the future, and, due to his mistakes, the state was under the grip of a severe power crisis. He also condemned YSRCP leader Vijayamma, and said that she has been targeting the government out of frustration over her son Jagan Mohan Reddy's imprisonment in the disproportionate assets case.
