Naidu Slams Jagan, Vows Reservations For Kapus
The TDP government would do everything possible for the community, including implementing welfare schemes in addition to the promised reservations, the AP CM said.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today said that the TDP was committed to keeping its promise on reservations for Kapus.
Addressing a program of Kapus in Vijayawada, he wooed the community promising plenty of steps for their welfare, including reservations in jobs and examinations. The TDP government would do everything possible for the Kapus, including constructing a building and implementing welfare schemes in addition to offering the promised reservations, he vowed.
He slammed the YSR Congress for not including the same in its manifesto and during its plenary. "Those who are raking up the issue do not have any need to talk about the welfare of the Kapus. I know my responsibility to offer reservations to Kapus upon getting the Manjunathan Commission report," Naidu said.
He also lashed out at Opposition leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy for his remarks to hang him (Naidu) publicly. The comments reflected his extremist attitude, and even his father Y S Rajasekhar Reddy could not bear Jagan, he said.
Naidu said that the age of the opposition leader was less than his political experience, and warned him of serious action if he failed to mend his ways.
