Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today demanded an inquiry by the CBI into the TSPSC question paper leak case.
He said that he would meet the Union Home Minister and plead with him for such an inquiry.
He also demanded that TSPSC Chairman B Janardhan Reddy resign from his post by owning moral responsibility for the paper leak.
Speaking to media persons in Bhongir, Reddy said that the unemployed youth of the State worked very hard to succeed in competitive exams, and that the parents of the students were spending their hard-earned money on providing coaching for their wards. The leak thus directly affected the 30 lakh unemployed youth of the State, he said.
He also lamented that the State government had not issued any notification to fill the vacant teachers posts in the State, and claimed that the erstwhile Congress government in united AP had given a DSC notification to fill 10,000 vacant teachers' posts.
Reddy also slammed the State government over the payment of Rs 10,000 as compensation for the hailstorm-hit farmers of the State, asking how such a meagre sum would be enough for the farmers.
Commenting on the implementation of the double bedroom house scheme in Bhongir, he alleged that of the 4,000 applications received, 2,300 had been declared invalid.
